Who we are

This website is operated by RGM Cranes (“we”), with headquarters in Apex, Benoni, Gauteng, South Africa. Nexxus is our web-based operations software for crane and lifting companies. For POPIA, RGM Cranes is the responsible party for personal information collected on this site.

What we collect

If you use Request a walkthrough or Contact, we collect your name, company, email, phone number, and the message you send, including any modules you mark as of interest.

If you sign in as an editor, we collect the email and sign-in method you use (Google, X, or email and password) so we can control who may change this site.

We do not ask for identity numbers, payment cards, or employee records on this public site. Nexxus as used inside a customer’s plant is a separate system with its own records.

Why we use it

Enquiries are used only to reply, to arrange a walkthrough, and to keep a record of that request. Editor accounts are used only to protect this website.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored on this website’s database and emailed to the inboxes our editors save under Editors. Those inboxes are chosen by us; they are not published on the public pages.

Cookies

This site sets a login cookie only for editors who sign in. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or a cookie banner for visitors who are only reading the public pages.

Sharing

We do not sell your details. We may share an enquiry with people inside RGM Cranes who need it to reply. Hosting and mail providers process data only to run this site.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while we handle them and for a reasonable business record after that. Editors can remove a stored request from the Editors screen. You may ask us to correct or delete your enquiry details.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for a correction, or object to us using it for this purpose. Use the contact page or call the numbers listed there.
